Procedure to become a member of IIS Alumni Association

1. Procedure

Those who would like to join IIS Alumni Association should submit an Application Form filled with the necessary information to the IIS Alumni Association Office whose address is shown below. The applicant should fulfill the membership requirements detailed in 4. The IIS Alumni Association Office will inform the applicant his membership number after receiving the Application Form and verifying that the applicant complies with the membership requirements. The applicant officially becomes a member of the Association once he gets his membership number. The members are expected to inform the IIS Alumni Office of any changes in their address, affiliation, etc. at their earliest convenience.

2. Membership requirements

Any person who has had a position at The 2nd Division of Engineering, The Branch School of the Engineering Department, or The Institute of Industrial Science, including graduate and undergraduate students, faculty members, researchers, technicians, administrative and working staff, and part-time staff, can be a member of the Association.

3. Fee and donation

Members are not required to pay membership fee. The association activities will be supported by donations based on the members' free will and its bank interests. The smallest unit of donation is 1,000yen. We would appreciate very much if you could contribute more than one unit every year. Donations can be done by using the application form which can be downloaded in the link below. Thank you very much in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
