Abstract Submission

Deadline of abstract submission is April 20th, 2001.

Abstracts are expected to be between 50 and 150 words in English.
Image incorporation into abstracts is not encouraged.
Submission by email to tokyo2001@fujihira-lab.bio.titech.ac.jp is preferred.
But submission by FAX or mailed hard copy will be accepted unless email is convenient for applicants and should be sent to the address below.

Title,
Names of authors (underlining the presenting author),
Affiliations,
and Your preference for an oral or poster presentation.*

Contributed oral presentations will be 15 minutes in length with a 4-minute discussion period.
Poster sessions will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening after the oral presentations.
(*The Local Organizing Committee finally selects the restricted number of oral presentations.)

We highly encourage all conference attendees to submit a paper for publication in a special conference edition of Ultramicroscopy.
Manuscript can be sent to the above address or hand delivered at the conference, and submitted papers will be peer reviewed.
Information about preparation of papers for Ultramicroscopy may be found at Elsevier Web Site.
A special conference edition of Ultramicroscopy will be published approximately 9 months after the end of the conference.
Each conference attendee will receive a copy of the conference proceedings as part of the registration fee.
