Researchers at the Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo, invented a small tabletop device that can generate uniform voltages and recharge used N95 respirators and surgical masks. This research can lead to more efficient personal protective equipment and a reduction in waste.

Researchers at #UTokyo_IIS, have developed a desktop charger with voltages high enough to replenish the electric charge on N95 and surgical masks, which is required for effective use.
