The “Dining Lab” serves as a dining facility suited for Komaba II campus, where cutting-edge research is conducted to shape tomorrow's lifestyles. Our goal is to transform the dining space adding an essence of research, creating a space where discussions pertaining to science can naturally arise and foster innovation. In addition to showcasing a diversity of research activities through exhibitions and seminars, the Lab seeks to explore various themes related to the “gathering of people,” such as creating comfortable spaces, digital transformation, and data science, as well as themes related to “food,” such as environment, water, health, and cuisine. Furthermore, we plan to undertake research involving individuals who dine with us. We aspire to create a space where the infusion of research elements into the relaxing dining experience catalyzes unexpected chemical reactions.
