Heat focusing in solid
Highly advanced thermal management technology is required for semiconductor devices. This work demonstrated directional heat flow by aligning nanostructures. Heat focusing was demonstrated for the first time in a structure with nano-holes aligned in a radial fashion. This technology develops thermal conduction technology and is expected to contribute to more efficient thermal management in active semiconductor devices.
